NFL Draft

No surprise: Reggie Bush was not the #1 draft. Instead, it was Mario Williams, defensive end from North Carolina State (very surprising). Maybe the Houston Texans wanted to revamp their defense. And do not be surprise if Reggie Bush would end up like Ricky Williams playing for the New Orleans Saints, the team that cannot win big games. This could be a contest between Bush and Deuce McAllister for a starting position at running back. One of these guys could end up traded to another francise.

Matt Leinart made the 10th pick on the draft by the Arizona Cardinals, not high as he would last year. He lost $7 million by not forgoing his senior season at USC and end up being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. The Rose Bowl performance could be very costly when Vince Young was the 3rd pick by the Tennessee Titans. Leinart would end up with a whole bunch of no-names with the Cardinals unless there is an adequate wide reciever who can step up for him.

Don't be surprise if LenDale White would be more successful than Bush. He got selected to a competitve team with the Titans.
